Decaying bumper cars in Pripyat amusement park, located in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in Ukraine. On the 27th of April 1986, 50,000 residents of Pripyat were evacuated never to return to their homes contaminated with radioactive fallout. The amusement park scheduled to be open on the 1st of May 1986 remains unused to this day. This photograph was taken between September 2021 and October 2022. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to capture the sun's path on the day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
