Alison was taught pottery by Marianne Finlayson, an incredible French potter from Stow in the Scottish Borders from 2012. Since then Alison has an earned a reputation for her own innovative work and in 2018 set up a community pottery near Kelso along with 2 friends.

She has always been passionate about pottery, ceramics, their glazes and the effects from firing in the kiln. Her passion is to hand build animals and has taken commissions from dogs to birds to rhinos.
